Recommendations from you for ministries are always considered within the guidelines in the main box.  It is extremely important to include the website address of the ministry in your recommendation.  Otherwise it is difficult to gauge what the ministry is publicly doing.

Welcome to Real Life 101

The employment situation in the United States has reached a critical mass.  It is the duty, the obligation and the responsibility of the born again believers in a Risen Christ - the "Church" to do something about that.  This website is dedicated to seeking out and providing for you a sourcing device for ministries that put the Word of God into practice in regards to men.

This is also very much a ongoing work in progress.  At present it is a one person affair that yours truly is working on.  I shall endeavor over the next days, weeks, months and years to seek out those ministries that have as part of their ministries a dedication to providing actual brick and mortar resources for men.

I shall also attempt to weed out those "ministries" that want to merely engage in lip service.  To accomplish that I earnestly seek counsel from you the reader to let me know if ministries are on the cutting edge or are just playing games.  Along those lines those "ministries" that merely have a jobs board (index cards on the bulletin board or postings on their website) and/or indoctrination sessions and/or a "Saturday Morning Breakfast" and nothing else will be excluded.   Additionally Ministries must offer specific services and NOT merely rely on the fact that they are a Church/Ministry to gain admission and those services must be posted (hopefully conspicuously) on their website.  If "ministries" want to be here then you had better DO something for men.  This is not Promise Keepers or the typical "church" ministry, the mission here is for the "church" to start keeping a few promises to men beyond lip service.

Churches/ Ministries that offer something beyond a breakfast/jobs board will be given consideration.  For example the Second Baptist Church in Las Vegas Nevada is a representation of a serious ministry that is offering something well past the jobs board.  Most notably there are also several ministries in North Carolina who are going beyond the call.  Certain ministries who appear to be performing significantly above the norm may be rewarded with a (++ or a )  symbol.  There are several ministries.

Certain organizations operate or attempt to operate nationwide.  In this case only the headquarters location is referenced.  In these cases I shall attempt to identify these particular organizations with a   (#) symbol.  So it might be worth the effort to look at all locations in the title bar.  This is also a self funded affair.  ALL the costs of doing this are coming from my pocket.  I am not endorsed or supported from any church or similar organization.  Also this IS NOT a non-profit.  Donations are of course welcome but they are not deductible for tax purposes.

Additionally this site is devoted primarily as a source for men (18-65) to find jobs.  Occasionally as a courtesy I may list other sites not fundamentally meeting this criteria and will denote same with a  symbol.

Please also report your experience with any of the listed services especially if any of the organizations have ceased operations or fail to provide the services advertised.  Sometimes ministries start up employment ministry with a less than full faith support.  These ministries do more harm than good and they need to be reported.
